YES I AM A DIRT BIKE RACER and have seen first hand at what happens when a few people get out of hand. Last year hauled several full size trash bags from the Bradford Trail alone and was disgusted with the kind of trash I saw. And I am sure that I was not the only one taking trash out. Was there May 18 and 19 with more than 40 tents noted near the beach area? Of course plenty of trash to go along with it. My thinking is that to get together with the regulars, as they seem in my opinion to be the most careful about cleaning up after themselves and all around policing themselves. A camera could be useful to pass along pics to the authorities. Of course everybody has to build a campfire where there have never been one before thus messing up the entire beach with ashes. If just one campfire gets out of control this dry summer do you think all the BLM folks will say "No Problem"? I have mentioned in a nice way to several individuals that they were grossly in violation of law and they respected my wishes by changing their behavior. If there is no regard for the rules what does everybody think will happen? I am going to make a policy of bringing my camera just for recording violations and then pass them along to some USDA folks. This is every person’s privilege and responsibility. Thanks
