It did turn out to be a good day at the springs. When I arrived I took some time to do a bit of cleaning, this time at the Crab Cooker and Serenity Pool. I put a new water pipe in place since the last time I was there it had been a rusty piece of metal, now it's a black dripline hose. When I arrived, the creek was running about a foot higher than last weekend and Arizona was underwater. The water source openings to it were somehow blasted open, so I took advantage of that and washed away most of the sand from the area. Later a couple other guys helped me start rebuilding the pool, which was finished by a small group. I concur with the guy who said, "it takes a villiage sometimes" to keep the area up and everything enjoyable... every little bit helps. Thanks to all who helped chip in time and effort to restore the Arizona pool to useability for at least this weekend.
