I hiked to Deep Creek yesterday. Just before I reached my parking area I once again saw the pair of Golden Eagles. The first one was hovering right near my car apparently trying to spot what I figure was some animal ( maybe a rabbit ) my truck had spooked. The second one I took a photo of sitting in an old dead tree. I enjoyed my early spring hike along the creek. During one stream crossing when I reached the other side the sun broke out suddenly as if to greet me to the other side :-) There were off and on clouds thoughout the day with the midday temp being around 60.
