Hey Wizard, last year I may have seen those very two Golden Eagles soaring above, half way down the Bowen Ranch trail. I sure it was the same pair becasuse their range is about 75 sq. miles and Golden Eagles typically mate for life. It's a beautiful sight to see these pair soar. I really enjoy seeing all the wild life in the area. Not too long ago I spotted Mule deer on the slope just east of the springs and have oftern seen Gray fox darting across the trail while hiking down early in the morning.
