My daughters and I hiked to DCHS today. When we started from my truck around noon it was 40 degrees with about 25 MPH winds on the ridges above the Deep Creek canyon. The creek temp was in the low 40's so we made it quick to the other side :-) We first got into the Serenity pool which was 104 degrees and then spent most of the day in the Womb pool which was 95 degrees. No one else was in the Womb with us while we did our soaking so the girls enjoyed the extra room :-) A half dozen other people came and went but they were using the Aniversary pool. A young man named Justin soaked in the Serenity pool while we were there. Earlier in the year Justin hiked the PCT from Mexico to Oregon which sounds like a great adventure :-) When we got back to my truck to drive out the temp had dropped to 32 degrees. It was a very enjoyable day at DCHS on this day after the beginning of Winter :-)
