.LOW PRESSURE MOVING EAST ACROSS NORTHWEST MEXICO WILL BRING RAIN
AND SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. SNOW
LEVELS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 4000 AND 5000 FEET...AND LOWER 3500 TO 4000
FEET FOR ALL AREAS SUNDAY MORNING.

ABOVE 5000 FEET...

THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 5000 FEET IS NOW IN EFFECT
UNTIL 10 AM PST SUNDAY.

* ELEVATION: ABOVE 5000 FEET.

* SNOW LEVELS: 5000 FEET DROPPING TO 4000 TO 4500 FEET OVERNIGHT.

* TIMING: PERIODS OF SNOW WILL PERSIST IN THE SAN BERNARDINO AND
RIVERSIDE MOUNTAINS THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL INCREASE AND SPREAD INTO THE SAN DIEGO MOUNTAINS LATER THIS
EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. THE MOST WIDESPREAD SNOW WILL OCCUR AFTER
MIDNIGHT AND THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING FOR ALL MOUNTAINS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 3 TO 6 INCHES THROUGH MID DAY SUNDAY... WITH
LOCALLY HIGHER ACCUMULATIONS ABOVE 6000 FEET FOR EAST FACING
SLOPES. AN ACCUMULATION UP TO 1 INCH IS EXPECTED DOWN TO 4000 FEET.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE: CUYAMACA...MOUNT LAGUNA...RANCHITA...
IDYLLWILD...PINE COVE...ANGELUS OAKS...BALDWIN LAKE...
BARTON FLATS...BIG BEAR CITY...BIG BEAR LAKE...FAWNSKIN...

* WINDS: EAST TO NORTHEAST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
GUSTS.

* VISIBILITY: LOCALLY LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE AT TIMES IN
SNOW...BLOWING SNOW...AND FOG.

* IMPACTS: RESIDENTS AND TRAVELERS INTO HIGHER ELEVATIONS IN
THE MOUNTAINS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR HAZARDOUS WINTER
WEATHER CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE ROAD CLOSURES. IF POSSIBLE...
