Yeah Johnny the creek must definitely be colder than the 50 degrees I measured on Thanksgiving weekend. I was just talking to my neighbor who runs a route for excercise at the base of Fairview Mountains in north eastern Apple Valley. His wife drops him off at the beginning of the route and this morning when he began it was 17 degrees he said, as indicated by the car thermometer in his wifes car. It must be quite chilly too up in the Deep Creek Canyon making for an icy creek crossing :-)
