Johnny, It was my concern too when I first hiked over to check out this vehicle as to whether there might be a body of someone in it. It was kinda erie when I finally got down to it and was working my way around to look inside of it. After finding nothing there I looked around the general area and back up the hill from where it came for any body. Back in the late eighties and early ninties I used to camp at a rocky outcrop on the ridge tops maybe a couple hundred yards back up the road that car was pushed off of at its dead end. I really enjoyed that spot with its beautiful and magnificent view of the Deep Creek Canyon and the San Bernardino Mtns. There was a big Juniper Tree next to the rocks which I could sit under with my chair for some shade but during the Willow Fire of 1999 that tree and surrounding area got burnt up. There are still a couple of big flat granite boulders that I used for tables on the ground right under the burnt limbs of that big Juniper. In the mornings I would eat my breakfast while sitting on top of the rocks enjoying the view, then I would hike across the hills over to the Bowen Ranch Trail for a day at DCHS. Many memories of good times spent there :-)
