Regarding the bikes, alot of folks fly in to Reno from other parts of the country, pick up used bicycles there and then either donate them back to parties in Reno after BM, or leave them at times at Burning Man since they don't want to make accomodations for taking the bikes back on the plane. Another example was Nicketti who was camped next to me and she lives in Portland and got a bike for $30 bucks on Craig's list, picked it up there as she was coming to BM. After BM she was doing a 1 month long solo journey around the southwestern states so she said she was going to drop off her bike in Reno to parties there that take them. Clearly people should be responsible and not leave there stuff at Burning Man. Its already a huge job for the BM DPW to clean up the Playa after the event is over.
I'm starting to put up my Burning Man photos at my Flickr photo site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/35054303@N00/?saved=1 , or you can also click on the Wizard's pictures link below on this page. We just got hooked up to some high speed internet service after being on dial up forever :-) This will help greatly with the photo upload process so the project of getting the BM pics up will go much quicker now :-)
