I know now and should apologize to anyone who my have been mislead because I used to post that that spot was on B.L.M. property. My old GPS said so and I believed it. HOWEVER ! My android phone GPS seems to be more exact than the old GPS and agrees with the markers placed by the survey teams of last fall. I used to camp a few hundred feet from there on B.L.M. property. I am going to camp there more often with my camera, binoculars and a few guns in an attempt to catch the crime animals involved with these despicable sins.
Joe, thanks for the more accurate boundaries. I don't think it matters so much the differentiation between the BLM and Forest Service lands there-I assume camping is fine on either. It's much more important to know exactly where the Bowen Ranch boundaries are in that area. Be careful on your stakeout!

While investigating this crime I checked to be certain no other cars were damaged. I happened upon some other long time hot springers who said " They did not know for sure but, they heard rumors that the Bowen ranch gang was vanalizing cars so everyone whould park there and give them money. Also they heard rumors that they were a bunch of drunks and dopers." I wonder who would start such rumors ?
Rumors, huh? C'mon Joe, you gotta be kiddin"- you know the reality.....
