Re: San Onofre

I had to go to Orange County for business today, and on the way back I stopped at San O. Today was much cooler and cloudier than last week, but it was perfect weather for a long beach run. I did an excellent 4 mile nude run down onto the Marine beach all the way to the I-5 viewpoint and back. Just a few scattered naturists along the beach. I was surprised that the small State Beach section south of trail 6 is such a low quality beach now. Tons of rock and very little sand for laying out. Although illegal of course, the Marine beach is so much nicer and definitely gets a lot of use, which I could tell from all the constructed driftwood "shelters". Overall, a pleasant interlude in my typically crazy busy work day.
