THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EXTREME
SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

SUBTROPICAL MOISTURE WILL CONTINUE TO LIFT OVER SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA THROUGH TONIGHT...BRINGING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS THROUGH THE EVENING
HOURS. DRY LIGHTNING...STRONG WINDS...AND LITTLE RAINFALL ARE
POSSIBLE. THE FLASH FLOOD POTENTIAL INDEX IS LOW...AND THE RISK OF
FLASH FLOODING IS MINIMAL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

FOR MONDAY...A WEAK MID LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE OVER THE
REGION...CONTINUING THE THREAT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER
THE REGION. THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS WILL HAVE THE BEST CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS...HOWEVER...THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE POSSIBLE EVEN
ALONG THE COAST AND OVER THE COASTAL WATERS. STRONG AND GUSTY
WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE. THE FLASH FLOOD POTENTIAL INDEX IS
LOW...AND THE RISK OF FLASH FLOODING IS MINIMAL.

FOR TUESDAY...THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING THUNDERSTORMS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. THE FLASH FLOOD
POTENTIAL INDEX IS LOW...THE RISK OF FLASH FLOODING IS MINIMAL.
