I have also hiked out in freezing temps at sunset with all my clothes wet cause I fell crossing the creek. I hiked out in my wet boxers and boots!
Buy the time I got back to my truck my boxers and boots where all iced-up! Be prepaired when you go outdoors! Anything can happen!
