Directions, the easy method.
Bear Valley heading east. Right on Central, cross RR tracks, over top of hill, turn Left on Ocotillo.
When the road turns to dirt, take second Right (Bowen Ranch Road), continue over cattle crossing, another 2 miles-ish.
Left at signs anouncing the ranch... you're there.
Went this weekend, you'll have absolutely no problem unless your truck is very low.
A good time is usually around 8-9 am so you have good parking and not too hot for the hike in. Tuesdays should be good, any weekday is usually better than the weekend.
Have a blast, wish I could be there any day of the week, but work gets in the way... lol.
