Hi All,

I'm new to Deep Creek but think I may have found my oasis in Southern California. I'm originally from Northern California and am accustomed to many beautiful spots to camp and swim (especially love Harbin Hot Springs). It's taken me two years to find Deep Creek and I'm ready to take my first trip with my partner and two of our best friends. I have a 4x4 Toyota Tacoma and we want to come up from San Diego Saturday morning, camp Saturday night, and leave Sunday.

Is camping plentiful? We will have two small tents and my truck.

Are fires allowed? Firepits or other designated fire areas? BBQ?

Are there outhouses or should I plan on bringing a shovel?

Any advice you could lend would be great. We are all in our late 20's-early 30's and love to have a good time. Maybe we'll see some of ya'll up there. Come say HI!!
