Wow, great report Geo... wish I would have made it out yesterday vice today. So glad it was a nice day for you and the people that were there. I met the family you mentioned today, but since there were many more textiles today than you noted yesterday, they stayed clothed, great people, talked to the dad a while. We had about a 10-20% natural ratio throughout the day, nut a difficult day to find an unoccupied spot in the shade.
You mentioned the Arizona pool, when I got there this am, it was solid sand and someone opened up the upstream wall again. I spend another few hours getting it fixed so people could enjoy it again, recieved many thanks for the work and boy did people enjoy the new sandbar on the downstream side with the mix of the restored hot pool water and cool creek water, a new people gathering place. And it was interesting to see how the one boy was diving under that large rock... explained alot to me about the structure and why it's so hard to keep the pool filled right now. Oh, and no snakes today in any of my wanderings.
The trash was all bagged up my a very nice guy who brought in heavy duty bags. I too took out a bag of cans, glass shards, and various metal items I collected, as well as picking up some garbage that was left on the trial. It was nice to see the area cleaned up again.
