you will be fine. the 6 miles of dirt road to bowen ranch, if you go that route, are in as good shape as they get, with the exception of a new ditch or two formed by the rains this past year. the only tricky part is the drive from the bowen ranch house where you pay your parking fee to the parking area 1/4 mile further on. just drive really slow, there is one hairy spot that is washed out. go slow and you'll be fine.
