Woman found in Deep Creek identified

APPLE VALLEY • Authorities have identified the woman found earlier this month with severe injuries in Deep Creek as 19-year-old Racquel Rayas of Hesperia, sheriff’s investigators said Wednesday.
Rayas died as a result of her injuries a day after she was discovered lying in the open desert near Deep Creek in Apple Valley on May 17....
