I drove it last year several times in my Wrangler and it was fine, but one trip I came from Fawnskin to Apple Valley in my two wheel drive Nissan PU and some of the erosion was an issue. I know I could not have gone back up through those parts. If road maintenance has been done then it may be better. Some of the San Bernardino Forest Roads don't open until 1 May.
