Thanks for the reports friends,
I posted a report a few days ago but my computer decided to pick up some virus and the report disappeared. The report was titled "Spring has sprung at Deep Creek."
I thought it was a beautiful essay about the beauty of the place right NOW !
I arrived at the springs very early several days ago. And there were hundreds of purple butterflies surrounding the Anniversary pool. The purple butterflies were about the size of a penny also there were several tiger butterflies floating around the area. Later in the day a friend and I hiked @ 1 mile up stream and were alarmed by a 4 foot long Mojave rattler. His rattle was more than 3 inches long. So every one be very aware of your surrounding while in this beautiful place.
I really enjoy reading about others adventures in my favorite hiking destination. Thanks to all who help keep this California GOLD shining as it does ;~)
