It is 2.6 miles from the parking lot at the trail head. If you take the right hand turn and go down into family canyon just as you get to the Bradford ridge fence. Or it is 2.9 miles if you keep to the Bradford ridge path going forward at the fence there. Turn to the right as you get to the creek.
