I used to ride my mountain bike down the Bradford ridge trail. I learned this - tree limbs are tougher than me. So I brought a hand saw and tree trimmer, this helped a lot. I used to stop before the Bradford spring about 3/4 of a mile before the springs and locked up to a tree there. After several trips I learned the energy it takes to push my bike up hill was not worth the time saved and returned back to just hiking in.
It is a beautiful place that is worthy of the time spent there. Slow down and enjoy the unique scenery. You will not regret it.
Enjoy !
