I had not used that dirt portion of HWY 173 to access the Bradford Ridge Trail since the big rains and was wondering earlier today about how that road had fared. Thats a bummer if they close the dirt part permanently :-( Maybe this has something to do with lack of funds to maintain the road from year to year now that state economies/budgets like California are in serious decline. If they are only closing the dirt portion then people will still be able to access the Bradford Ridge Trailhead by coming through the Lake Arrowhead area as HWY 173 is a paved road all the way to the Bradford Ridge trailhead parking area.
