It's on the USFS San Bernardino National Forest map I believe. I do remember the old minor's cabins that used to dot the area of Arrastre canyon though. I did live up at the old "welcome ranch" back in the 70s. That property is now owned by Jerry and Mary and they have lived there for well over a decade now (maybe two! ). Hey, come to think of it, you've been around for quite awhile now. Did you ever get a chance to talk awhile with ol Gertie Bowen? She used to enjoy entertaining us mountain kids with tales of old. When I knew her, she was living down in town but always full of spunk.
