Re: Horse Springs Campground - No Motorized Access

Originally, it was called whore springs after a working girl that had a cabin up that way. When the USFS published the map, they couldnt call it by its original name so they changed it to what it is today. The remains of the foundation is still visable if you know where to look. A couple of years back I took an archeologist up to the site and he found an intact perfume bottle, slightly blue glass and all. It just goes to show that ya never know......
