Re: Rock Springs Road is Closed

I watched the sun rise at Rock Springs road this morning and took some pictures of it. The road is completely covered by the Mohave river still. It is raging from river bank to river bank. Some one has piled dirt on the Hesperia side so no one can drive down there. As I hiked to the river it appeared some of the bridge was gone. So I waded out to where it appeared to be gone. It was a large pile of logs which were on the road. The bridge part is still in tact.
