DCR-Thanks for the welcome! I am awful with names but next time you see us at the springs say hi and I am sure I'll recognize you. its nice to have a place out side the springs where the people who want to take care of them can talk. Its a shame about all the silliness but whatever....

Wizard- stop trying to put words in my mouth . I do not by any means mean a select slice of society-snobbery is hideous and would cut out a very interesting portion of our society . I may or may not like your buddies but I doubt you invited anyone who would trash the place or sleep right at the springs or follow women around and creep them out or break glass in the pools and so on. I think it would be a huge shame if the springs was for a certain type of person only. Thats ridiculous. My point was that the allegations of serious ongoing violence and vandalism by Michael are incorrect and somewhat malicious. As an eye witness to his dealings at the gate on his property I can speak of this thoroughly and honestly.
Anyone who comes and wants to pack out what they pack in (coolers and all and lets not get petty eh)are more than welcome. As the owner of the property he can invite or ask to leave anyone he likes.
And yes-I do think if every person that comes to Deep creek takes care of themselves and their trash , uses common sense as to who they invite and how they behave,talks to anyone behaving abonimably or carrying glass,if thats what you mean by singing a happy tune and inviting a select crowd then you are correct. Its up to us as individual citizens to take care of our planet.If we can help each other to do so in the process, than we should. I plan to work alongside anyone willing to help Deep creek and the Springs stay the very special place it is.
