Tanya, Hmmm, It appears you feel that Deep Creek is the one place that will stay the same if we all just sing happy tunes and invite only a select crowd. I wonder if you would " approve " of the various friends I have invited over the years. So the springs is an invitation only affair, and better be prepared for your visit, the way " we " think you should be, or your not goin, and what if your plastic cooler has plastic bottles with water and juice in it. I guess your not goin then either. Mike Castro, Kevin and you are certainly within your rights to let whomever you wish cross your property but DCHS is not your private club to have control over. The fact that you choose by your own standards who may access through, at the ranch gate, makes it imperative, as I have said before, that the general public should have alternative access means. An access where they are governed and judged by the rules of the BLM and USFS departments whose land we cross to access the public place of DCHS. I was told to leave the Bowen Ranch because Mike Castro and I had a very brief argument about trash at the springs. Thank goodness the BLM and the USFS had the common sense to open up the public routes around the ranch. I will be active to ensure that an alternative public route from the north, to DCHS, remains open for the benifit of the general public.
