I see on here that some might want to access this road to get to the spillway or the Bradford ridge trail head. It has been closed since 09-20 and will be closed until 11-01. Work crews are completely repaving this roadway. It is closed from the Mesa store till about 1 mile north of that biker bar I do not know the name of. This makes for about 5 miles of dirt and pea gravel and 25 mph IF you meander through the area. The signs state that you are to use the Summit Valley road detour, which will add about an extra 25 miles to your trip. This road used to be full of pot holes and ruts but, now it will be much nicer than before.
So take this into consideration while planning your trip.
Perhaps some one smarter then me can find a web site that explains dis better than me ?
