Paul, Ambivalence is a word I would use also in describing how I feel about whether Mike and Gail should be involved in this meeting we are proposing. Gail has expressed that she would rather not out of saftey concerns. On the one hand I don't want these people to feel that they are being treated unfairly by being left out but then it may not be expecially benificial to get them together at this point. Another thing is for instance, Mike Castro may have no interest in being part of such a meeting. Tanya and Kevin might feel the same way. For the time being I think its ok for those of us to get together to discuss the possibilities. Getting people together for a meeting may prove to be a difficult prospect because of the distance people live from the springs area and definitely because of timeschedule problems. All we can do is give it a try and see what happens. I also think that since we have no specific group yet and no set plans that initially we should meet to establish just who is involved and what we might intended to try to accomplish. Then we can approach the BLM and the Forestry Dept to see what thier considerations are for what we may propose. Since this group thing is all new to me I'm just throwing ideas out there. Just trying to proceed in the way that seems sensible to me.
