I can usually make it on any given Saturday, but not before about 10:30-11am. A local restaurant or at the Bowen Ranch or nearby would suit me fine.
By the way, a huge Green Tortoise Tour group showed up on Saturday, May 4th. Most were clothed, btw, but a friendly group they were and all went well. I didn't see any trash left behind by the time I left near sunset. I seemed to be the only 'regular' there that day - at least there was not a face I recognized out of the 50 or so people there.
This brings up a point: It's probably a good idea that some 'regular' be there on long holiday weekends to 'police up' the place, although there usually is and people generally are good about cleaning up after themselves anyway.
As far as Forest Service meetings are concerned, do any of you attend these meetings? It would be good to hear a clear, concise report of the meeting's minutes from someone each time.
