Your statement, "At a bare minimum, I would not let them [children] be within touching distance of any unaccompanied male in a pool." Begs the question: Unaccompanied males are assumed to be perverts, ready to pounch on and molest a child. First this is not true. Second, there is a trend in our culture (statistics will bare this out) of more and more women who are reported to be pedophiles. The news often reports women who have molested young boys and girls - many of the abusers trusted individuals. NEVER ASSUME that just because it is a woman that your child is safe. Children, whether at DCHS or other venues ought to be supervised. Period. Also never assume that if your child is alone with a relative or friend that they are automatically safe. It is a fact that more children are molested by people they are aquainted with, than with strangers. My experience at DCHS is that the "nudists" who visit DCHS are fairly open and nice and would infact come to the aid of a child in trouble. My greatest concern is the plethora of textile males (some females) who visit the spring.
