Agreed.
For instance, I also do not want to see strange fluids floating in the tubs (so no sex in the tubs -- and for that matter, no sex unless you are in places far from the springs where you and your partner are secluded and alone).
I also think it is fine, for people like yourself, to see DCHS as a place to socialize. Many people do. Others, such as myself, prefer to find peace and quite there, and serenity, in the off season and at times when that is possible. I trust you think my preferences are acceptable, as well.
I also think it would be selfish for a couple to expect a single guy to leave the couple alone in a tub when the place is crowded and the other tubs are all full. I have never stated or suggested otherwise.
Conversely, I also think it is selfish for a single guy to voyeuristically prey on a couple or single woman for the better part of a day, not leaving them alone for even a few minutes, at times when the place is not so crowded. That has been my point throughout this topic stream, which so far no one has openly agreed with me about. Just as it would be nice for couples to realize that they have no right to have a pool to themselves when DCHS is crowded, it would be nice if single guys internalized an ethic which said that predatory voyeurism at DCHS is also something they ought to try to curtail.
But my failure to get that ethic agreed to, is all cool too. As two different women and one male friend all told me yesterday, couples and single women know exactly what I am talking about and will readily agree with me that predatory voyeurism by single men is a real problem at DCHS, but that single men may well see things from a diametrically opposite point of view.
I think we've beat this topic to death, and I have done so in particular.
So TO ALL: Happy soaking...or friendly innocuous socializing...or predatory voyeuring... or making single women and couples uncomfortable...or just relaxing...or whatever floats your boat at DCHS. At least we are in common agreement that (1) there should be no sex in the pools or adjacent areas and (2) people should take out more than they bring in.
