Re: DCHS etiquette

As I say, I have said my peace about this topic so to repeat my views further is probably just flogging a dead horse. But again, please recognize the setting of my original question: A single guy spends HOURS in the same pool or pool area with a couple, and will not leave them even a few MINUTES of alone time (obviously because he wants to keep looking at the woman or etc.) The starkest situation I posed was the time 7-8 years ago when there were four pools empty and the only people there were my girlfriend and I and a single guy in the area. The single guy followed us into the Arizona pool. Then he followed us into the womb.

Note from all the responses, entirely from men who come mostly to DCHS by themselves, not one single reponse bothered to mention that single guys should not do that! I find that startling, and sad. The onus was all put on what couples should do: to not expect any privacy in the first place, to leave, to tell the guy off, etc. With the exception of Wizard's observation that there are single guys who go to DCHS who do not give a rat's ass how much they disturb couples or single women, and Celtfire's wonderful previous response that barbed wire could not keep such guys from doing so, not one single response so far on this topic, in one single word, suggested that single guys reading this forum should get the message from all of us that they themselves, without having to be asked or overtly chewed out, should be more courteous in the first place. I was hoping in the post, obviously without success, to perhaps induce the germ of a commonly understood etiquette that might make DCHS a bit more inviting to couples (and single women) who otherwise are detered against going there by the disproportion of nude single guys at DCHS and their insistance of remaining near couples (or single women) and not leaving them alone.

For what it is worth, I simply quote here again The Naturist Society's Rule No. 1 for Deep Creek Hot Springs:

"1. Respect other people’s privacy. Many are
at the hot springs for quiet time. Please refrain
from shouting. Don't monopolize a person's
time unless the welcome mat is out.
Recognize when you are unwelcome"

Somehow, I am pretty sure the people who drafted that suggested rule of etiquette see things just as I do. I imagine that so do most couples and most single women who would like to go to DCHS and take off their clothes without being bothered by the horny energy of single guys who insist on hanging in their presence. There are undoubtedly couples and females who are exceptions, just as I know there must be some single guys who come to DCHS who would unilaterally, from their own inner sense of Golden-Rule courtesy, give a couple (or single woman) a few minutes of alone time (at times when DCHS is not overly crowded) without having to be asked. But as the adage goes, I guess, you stand where you sit.
