Thanks, Wizard. I appreciate your thoughts, as well as the thoughts of the others who have responded.

Just to clarify: I did not have in mind monopolizing a pool by a couple, especially when the springs are relatively crowded. What I was referring to are the jerks that will not leave couples any time alone, even a few minutes, at times and in places around the pools where there many other spots for the single guy to go to.

I also realize, of course, that not all single guys who go to DCHS are as crude or rude or desparate or ogling as others. Some, perhaps only a miniscule few, might even be courteous enough to give a couple some privacy when the single guy has another empty pool to soak in.

But as I asked in my first posts to this forum a few months ago, after not being to the springs in many years: Are the springs ruined, in the sense that quiet private solitude (or romance), in the pool area itself, is no longer realistically possible?

From some of the responses so far, it appears that yes, DCHS is ruined as I once loved it. It appears that even the prevailing mindset about what is most valuable and worth preserving in DCHS, has changed. The people who have responded to this post are apparently correct that the ability for a couple to be alone, in and around the pool area during the day, is no longer realistic (except in the early morning hours during weekdays, perhaps, as Celtfire has pointed out). Therefore, the crowds and influx of single guys wanting to see naked women have ruined the place as something attractive for couples seeking quiet and romance, at least during the day (even in the off season?). The crux of some of the responses so far is that there is no privacy anymore at DCHS, and besides, even if there were times where privacy was possible because not many people were in the pools area, the onus should be on couples who desire to be left alone to shake the spot, while god forbid that any single guy should be expected to give couples any privacy even during times when it would be completely easy and possible for the single guy to do so.

However, since most of the responses so far, with due respect, have been from guys who usually come to DCHS by themselves, I remain curious whether women and couples share what has been expressed here: that women and couples don't have any privacy at DCHS and should not even expect single men to be courteous enough to give them privacy at times when a man at DCHS easily can.
