I would like to thank everyone for responding to my question. I spent the weekend reading past post. I am on older woman and have seen my share of the darker side of human nature. I believe it really comes down to how one carries themselves and staying 'awake". As I said I have asked a lot of locals about the springs and I get the usual answers.....past history...etc. The one that always makes me smile is "oh a bunch of naked hippie/crazy people go there. I am going to go through Bowens ranch the first time because I believe it will be the more traveled path. Once I get a lay of the land and I hope to meet more of my tribe there I will get a better idea on how to do the freedom trail. I have another question...I see the word textilles used to discribe a certain type of person. What does the word really mean to you and how did it originate?
