Deputies search for woman near Deep Creek

APPLE VALLEY • San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials were searching Tuesday evening for a woman who was reportedly stranded near the Deep Creek hotsprings, according to initial reports.
A sheriff’s helicopter joined the search around 5 p.m. The woman, who may have suffered from a medical condition, was believed to be abut one mile into the remote area. Further details were not immediately available.
