OK,
you state seven objections,
the first one was stated by me at the end of my post.
#2 is the main object of the story. One needs this vital information to check the authors accuracy, which one can not because it is not there to check.
#3 It was last year, that was when I left Vegas.
#4 You can check 3 different web sites @ the Amoeba and get 3 different statements about it's statistics. Very misleading, and confusing. Who do you believe ?
#5 The Loxahatchee comes out a spring at @ 60 degrees and is very clear. That brackishness is caused by the septic tanks from the houses nearby. Which have been made illegal as per state law which passed last year. The State is giving grants for persons there to hook up to the cities sewer lines by next year. It should clear up again soon after.
#6 The Amoeba dies in cold water. Read the info from the web sites and you should know @ that. That is why people SHOULD NOT worry @ it.
#7 Persons of all races come here from the tropics. The amoeba does not care what race it's victim is. Race was not the object or subject of anything I mentioned.
I love all members of the Human Race. Can't you tell ?
Just in case you are in that area,,, The Itchnatucknee river is nearby and is the finest River in the world to go inner tubing on. That is you put your rump on a rented inner tube and go 5-20 miles drifting on it sipping beer and listening to music and having a good time with friends. The hottest the water gets is @ 72 degrees and it is so clear you can see for @ 1/2 a mile in all directions. I have done that @ 10 times and some times I dream about being there. Always a good dream ;~)
