Venus, Despite the things you read here about Mike Castro I would suggest the Bowen Ranch there is enough room so you can find a very nice spot, and the cost is not bad. Not far away there is a camp ground on Lake Arrow head road and a store.
depending on what kind of car / truck you have you could go Boonie camping out off one of the way out back roads or by the freedom trail head or even down by the step over gate. I'm forgetting you do not know the back roads around here and would maybe get lost, Sooo your safest bet is to go to the ranch or a camp ground. It would be your choice Happy camping. Paul-v
