Thanks DH 420. I have been reading the posts much of the morning and I am not totally looking forward to going to DCHS now. It sounds like the place is sort of ruined from what it used to be: far more crowded, and with a lot more loud people, littering people, perverted people, and so on than when I used to go there decades ago. If so, what a horrible shame. It was not only beautiful back then, but mellow almost always. I always came away feeling great, emotionally uplifted, and spiritually rejuvinated. Sounds like I better not get my hopes up for any of that if I go again...Instead, it sounds like I should expect numerous desparate guys oogling the women, crowded pools, lots of trash, bad vibes generally, and perhaps blaring boom boxes as well. True? What a bummer!
