Katrina,
You brought up "tolls" and "boundaries" [of Mike's land].
You said that paying Mike's parking parking fee is a "toll". Then you quoted from the Vehicle Code. Then you ask, "is this legal?" [to carge a toll]. You then, in a later post, mention maps and "boundaries".
I may have misunderstood what you were referring to, and if so, where does it become relevant to anyone the issues you bring up regarding tolls?
When I enter the Bowen Ranch from Bowen Ranch Road, pay the parking fee, and drive to the parking area, where is the concept of a toll ever relevant? That road crosses nothing but Mike's land.
The drawings Mike made for me were accurate enough to describe the position of the roads and buildings. He couldn't be that far off in his sketches that would place his roads anywhere but on his own land. And I have seen the documents posted on your website and drew for myself the boundaries based on the legal descriptions of the lands.
Perhaps I've misunderstood you again, somehow. I read nearly every post at this message board, so I doubt I've missed any previous posts that would clarify what you're talking about. I read your post in this thread and responded to it; you said what you said. If you meant something different, say so, and explain it so there's no question as to what you mean.
Since you're attempting to be the spokesperson on these things, clarity is important. It seems that nearly every post by you contains some controversial allegation or erroneous legal intrepretation of easements, boundaries, ownership, and access rights to Mike's property. It would be nice, but I wouldn't expect it, that you admit when you're wrong. Instead, I see you come back with some other seemingly irrelevant legal intrepretation.
My aim here is to help clarify issues and set the [message board] record straight for the benefit of those who've visited your website and are wondering what's REALLY going on here.
