I went to the springs yesterday. I had a good time until I started to leave. Hippie Dave told me there was 5 large bags of trash on the beach across from the pools. I told him I would carry one out. When I got to the beach I found that I had been lied to. There was 9 large trash bags. As I surveyed the area there was a huge amount of discarded clothes, camping equipment and beer cans every where I looked. I got so angry I left it all for the litter bugs viewing pleasure. If they and everyone else DO NOT CARE, then neither do I.
I could get angry or depressed, but why should I ?
The crowd yesterday were mostly teen agers and textiles.
Perhaps THEY should carry their own trash out.
Maybe Deep creek volunteers should organise a trash clean uo day, because there is a ton of trash on the beach.
I'm just saying ...
