Just before you get to the Bowen ranch there is a gate, turn right there. After the gate make 3 left turns. After the third left turn go exactly .5 of a mile and park at the large parking area there and look south and east for the trail head. It is 1.2 mile to the springs and all down hill. You may want to use a high clearance vehicle, BUT, I have been seeing a lot of cars there lately as the road is getting better with it's increased use.
From the gate to the first left turn it is exactly .75 of a mile then 1.25 miles exactly to the second left turn then @ 200 yards till that road ends, then exactly .5 of a mile till the trail head parking lot.
You should print out these directions and take them with you.
