I got to the Freedom trail head at 3:00pm. I jogged all the way to the springs in under 25 minuets, but I did not time myself exactly. When I got across the water I was certain I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. To put this politely several men who live unnatural were in the womb pool. The womb is where these guys came from but do not wish to return. Perhaps we should rename this pool to not offend these Americans?
So I headed over to the shade trees to avoid confronting these Americans. When I got there every one who is offended by these unnatural Americans were there too! that would be just about every decent minded American @ 40 people. We were all together in allowing these guys their space. Of course, there were the regular jokers who were making jokes about these guys unnatural behavior and Aides. And weather or not you can get it from being in the warm water with them ? We were not willing to do any scientific research to find out.
When Hiking up hill to urinate I saw a baby King snake @ 2 feet long. This is one of my favorite snakes because he appears to be smiling all the time. This was the black and white banded kind of king snake. He looked closely at me and turned around and went back up hill to where he came from.
Having enough of this nonsense I started to work on the Arizona pool. Which when I got there was above 60 degrees. I soaked there for @ 20 minuets. There was almost no sand at all in this pool as it was being pushed out by the strong water current. Which was very strong. Several large boulders were in the bottom of the pool so I placed them in the breach where the water was flowing into the pool. This slowed the current by about 70 %. When I first got there the water was @ 1 foot above where it flows over the dam. When I left it was only @ 4-5 inches above the dam.
After doing this I noticed the unnaturals crossing the creek to go home. Which I noticed was @ 4-5 inches below the dam of the Serenity pool. The water temp is still warming up to @ 60 degrees.
So I got my shovel out and started to remove the sand and debris from the Serenity pool. It is over 3 feet deep now and it was very hot on the Crab Cooker side.
Then some pretty women from Brooklyn N.Y. showed up which took up the rest of my day.
On the way out I spotted a Bobcat that was larger than 3 feet long. Me and my neighbor who was with me both saw this guy very plainly about 30 feet in front of my truck. He stepped into the road , looked our way and stood @ 3 seconds and then calmly stepped forward. We were AMAZED at his sleek beauty. He was @ 3/4 of a mile from the trail head as you are going toward the Bowen ranch.
Then @ 1/2 mile before I got to my house a deer jumped out in front of my truck. Causing me to instantly hit my brakes to avoid a collision. It was a baby female about half way grown.
Besides all of these beautiful animals were flowers of every color and size every where. If the plants are not flowering now they are about to or are trying too.
It is great to be in this world and alive to see all of this beauty.
