If you really wanna go you can find the Bradford ridge trail which is a 2.9 mile hike with out needing high clearance. It is pavement all the way.
Do you know how to get to Lake Arrowhead ?
Go on the 215 freeway east from L.A. When you go past the 15 freeway you will see the MT. resorts sign for Waterman St. go north on it to the Lake Arrowhead turn off when you are on the mt. Go 2 or 3 miles to the 5 way stop sign and turn right. This is highway 173 it goes through a lot of houses and then turns into forest. After you see a forest ranger station on the right side go @ 2 miles and there is a target shooting arena on the left side of the road. Go @ 2 more miles and there is a small concrete bridge at the curve in the road. Park where you feel it is comfortable. There will most likely be some cars already parked there especially on the weekend. The Bradford path is on the north side of the road. Remember it is a 1000 foot drop down to the Deep creek and 600 ft of that is when you first leave the creek. When you get to the creek turn to the right and go up stream.
Print these directions out and take them with you to avoid getting lost or confussed.
