Re: Spring is here and the Rattlesnakes are out!

I definitely ran into a Green Mojave last year at Deep Creek. They really are green. Luckily he (or she) let me know I was just about to step over it by rattling and moving wildly. Actually, we both ran off in the same direction at first. I used to be horrified of snakes, but now, I just respect them and give them distance. Every time I went to the springs last year I encountered rattlesnakes... some were quite big. Just be cautious and respectful.
