Re: Postmus arraignment postponed

I don't know if people on this forum know much about Postmus. Postmus was county supervisor for almost 8 years for the high desert. He was very talented in raising campaign funds for the Republicans and himself. He raised and spent over $2 million in his campaign for assessor that he won. Then things started to crumble. It eventually came out that he was on drugs, Methanphetamine, gay and being blackmailed. A very well connected developer in the county was allegedly blackmailing people in the county to obtain a settlement in a court case against the county to the tune of $102 million. The settlement was approved by the board of supervisors.

Now it is unraveling as the District Attorney has charged Postmus, Jim Erwin, Adam Aleman and others in a conspiracy and the state attorney general is involved calling it the largest corruption case in the history of San Bernardino.
