Colette, there are several budget hotels in Hesperia, Victorville and Apple Valley. I always stay at a fairly new Motel 6 on Main Street in Hesperia just west of the I-15. It's the closest to Deep Creek, and is cheap and clean. They have a $45 dollar Internet rate.
