I saw another sort of problem today at Deep Creek, although seemingly minor, it could have turned out bad. A young couple was hiking in right when I was leaving DCHS at 6:30 PM. They were not going to camp (thankfully) but they would end up hiking out after dark without a flashlight. And most of you know how easy it would be to misstep off the cliff on the trail just above MoFo Hill.
On a positive note, I like Hippie Daves new rock stencils- "Please Pack Out Your Shit. Doesn't get much clearer than that!
