I feel your pain and I too have experienced similar situations there. That is why I always try to make my visits during the week days.
Some under cover police work would not stem the flow of knuckleheads either. They seem to be in the majority too many times.
Too bad being in the boy/girl scouts is not mandatory. That was where I learned to be prepared. Instead it seems Southern California is heading into the black hole of knuckleheads with the billion dollar deficit increasing the velocity of stupid by a factor no one can predict. Jim Morrison called them television's children and I know what he means with the Simpsons being their roll model. DOH !
This is why I some times vote with my feet and leave early. The worst thing about D.C.H.S. is it is too close to L.A. Lost Angels are just another name for knucklehead. So the place has a long history of stupid.
I predict the next big earthquake will be near L.A. and before the end of THIS year. MARK MY WORDS ! And good luck when it happens.
Thanks for reminding me why I am exploring New Mexico and Arizona.
When I say happy soaking I mean it too. It is a good goal to reach for.
